Smarter Search, Enhanced Automation, and What's Next - Uncover It All with Our SlideHub Q1 Product Update Webinar Recap
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Q1 Product Update Webinar! Your time and engagement mean a lot. If you couldn’t make it, no worries — this blog post will walk you through all the exciting new features we covered and give you a peek at what’s coming next for SlideHub.
This quarter, we focused on making on-brand slide creation even more seamless and efficient. Our updates revolve around the four core pillars of SlideHub:
Finding the right slide quickly is essential — and we’ve made it even easier:
Revamped Search Interface We’ve redesigned the quick search in the PowerPoint task pane for a more intuitive experience, while keeping the full search view just a click away.
Introducing Semantic Search Our new AI-powered semantic search understands the meaning behind your queries, not just the keywords. This means more accurate and relevant results — even for complex search terms.
Advanced Filtering Options Easily narrow down search results, exclude certain content, and toggle between semantic or keyword-based search types.
Enhanced Logic Operators You can now refine searches using “NOT” and “OR” operators, in addition to “AND,” for precise filtering.
Key Presentation Shortcuts Admins can now pin key presentations for quick access directly within the task pane and the platform.
⚡ Boosting Automation and Customization
We’ve introduced several features to help you customize presentations even faster:
Presentation Builder Rules Add filters to variable slide groups based on for example region, industry, product, or service, making it easy for users to find exactly what they need.
Personal Placeholders Save personal info (like name, role, and email) to automatically fill out placeholders in presentations and documents.
Intelligent Image Replacement When replacing images, SlideHub automatically crops and adjusts them to fit the size and placement of the original image — identifying the key part of the image to highlight.
📁 Simplified and Smarter Content Management
We’ve streamlined content management so your team can stay organized without added effort:
Direct Editing for Word and Excel Make updates to Word and Excel files right from their task panes — no need to leave the SlideHub platform.
Disable Slide Warnings Mark inspiration slides to be excluded from version control alerts, reducing false positives.
Dowload/open all slides within a variable group with one click Download all slides from a variable slide group for easier management and update of the slides.
Smart Image Compression SlideHub now automatically compresses images based on their dimensions — reducing file sizes by up to 80% with no visible quality loss.
Easier Slide Labeling We’ve improved the labeling process during uploads and when suggesting new slides - users can now label slides directly within the task pane.
📊 Data-Driven Insights for Better Decisions
Understanding how your team uses SlideHub is critical for optimization. Here's what’s new:
Team level insights for statistics Managers can now filter platform statistics by team(s) across all tabs, making it easier to track asset usage and user activity within specific teams.
Gatekeeper role renamed to "Editor" The Gatekeeper role has been renamed to Editor for clearer, more intuitive naming, with no change to permissions. Editors now have access to key usage statistics to help inform content decisions.
General statistics improvements and filtering We’ve upgraded the statistics for better filtering and faster navigation.
🚀 Coming Soon - What to Expect in the Next Quarters

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
