🔎 Placeholder scanning - identify and link placeholder identifiers faster

We’ve made big improvements to how you work with placeholders.

Managers can now scan your entire library for any text within square brackets — helping you quickly identify potential placeholders.

Here’s how it works:

  • Go to Manage Assets > Placeholders.
  • Click the Scan for [x] in library button.
  • The system highlights both existing and potential placeholders.
    • Existing: Already in your library, just not linked yet.
    • Potential: New identifiers you can turn into placeholders on the spot.

This helps you speed up placeholder creation and linking, giving end users immediate access to the right input fields during customization.

🔲 Placeholder improvements - Enhanced UI & UX

We’ve revamped the placeholder experience to offer admins and end users a more intuitive interface, alongside additional formatting options for smoother customization.

What's New:

  • Hidden by Default: Personal and repeating placeholders are now hidden by default, keeping the view clean and focused. Users can toggle them on when needed.
  • Toggle Switch: End users can easily toggle to reveal all placeholders, providing more flexibility when editing.
  • Optional Placeholders: Managers can designate certain fields as optional, so users can skip them without disrupting their workflow.
  • Prefix/Postfix: Add formatting like currency symbols or percentage signs automatically before or after user input.
  • Character Limits: Set maximum input lengths to maintain clean and consistent formatting across slides.

⚙️ Preselected rules in the Presentation Builder - ensure only the most relevant slides are shown

Take control over the content your team sees during the presentation-building process. With Preselected Rules, managers can filter slide groups based on specific labels or tags, ensuring that only the most relevant slides appear for the presentation at hand.

How it works:

Preselected Rules allow managers to fine-tune slide selection within variable slide groups. By applying these rules, teams will only see slides that meet both the group’s label and the selected criteria. This minimizes distractions and ensures that only the most pertinent content is available, improving efficiency and focus. For example, when building a presentation for a specific product or industry, Preselected Rules help ensure that only the related case studies or content are displayed, streamlining the creation process.

🔒 Fixed slide set - keep related slides together

Ensure slides that are dependent on each other — like client case stories followed by results, or disclaimers tied to specific content — are always grouped together and used as one unit. This feature prevents important content from being separated and ensures that key messaging remains intact across all presentations.

How it works:

Once slides are grouped into a Slide Set, they will always be inserted as a complete unit. This helps maintain the narrative flow and structure, especially for content that must appear together, such as legal disclaimers or essential context. Users will see these slides only as part of the set, making sure no key slide is omitted or presented out of order.

🧑💼 Asset ownership - assign responsibility and improve content management

Admins can now assign ownership to individual assets — including slides, images, icons, documents, sheets, and text snippets. Give admins ownership of individual assets to clarify accountability, streamline updates, and improve content governance.

Key benefits:

  • Track changes more easily
  • Improve content management workflows
  • Ensure each asset has a clear point of contact

You can assign owners individually or in bulk, and  filter by asset owner in the Manage view.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
