Questions teams usually ask first
Where is our data stored, and who can access it?
All customer data is hosted on AWS in Ireland (EU). Access is role-based and audit-logged, so you control who sees which slides at the user, team, or content level. We’re SOC 2 Type II certified and validated for the Microsoft Office Store.
Is our content used to train AI models?
No. We only use open-source models, and customer input is never shared with model providers or used for training. Your slides, prompts, and search history stay yours.
Can we use SlideHub without the AI features?
Yes. AI is fully optional and can be disabled per-team or organization-wide. Search, library management, version control, and sharing all work without any AI involvement. Turn it on when you’re ready.
How does SlideHub handle GDPR and sensitive client work?
All data is processed under a DPA in line with GDPR. You can lock compliance-critical slides, restrict sharing, gate access by user or content type, and review full audit trails. Used daily by lawyers, auditors, and consultants handling NDA-protected work.
Does SlideHub work with the AI tools our team uses?
Yes. Through our MCP integration, SlideHub plugs directly into the AI tools your team already uses. Instead of generating generic decks, your AI pulls from your approved slides, templates, and firm knowledge, so every deck looks and sounds like your team built it. Your slide library becomes a queryable knowledge base your AI builds from, not something it has to guess at.
How much work is the rollout?
Less than most teams expect. Our PowerPoint experts help migrate your existing decks, set up permissions, and train your team. Most customers are live in 2–4 weeks with full onboarding support included.
What does it cost?
You can see full pricing and get an instant quote for your team size using the price estimator on our pricing page.
How does the pilot work, and is there a cost?
It depends on your team size. For SMB clients, we run a custom demo in which we create and fully customize your account, setting up your library, configuring your brand settings, and onboarding your admins, so you can evaluate SlideHub in a real environment tailored to you. We don’t offer unpaid pilots at this level. For Enterprise customers, we provide a free pilot that typically runs 2–4 weeks. Our Customer Success team sets up your library, configures your brand settings, and onboards your admins, then we invite a group of end users to test the tool in a real environment. The pilot account carries over directly if you subscribe, so nothing is lost. Either way, we run the security and legal review in parallel so there are no delays once you’re ready to commit.
Will our team actually use it, and how do you handle adoption?
This is the most common concern we hear, and it’s a fair one. The key reason SlideHub gets adopted where other tools don’t is that users never leave PowerPoint, plus our obsession with making the end-user experience as simple as possible and customized to each team. The tool lives as an add-in inside PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, so there’s no new system to learn. End-user training takes 30 minutes and is included in your subscription. We record sessions so new hires can onboard themselves. For larger rollouts, we typically recommend starting with a core group, building the library with them, and expanding department by department. We’ve seen the highest adoption rates when the library is well-populated before end users are invited, which is exactly what we focus on during the demo or pilot.
What does the IT and security review process look like?
We provide a full security documentation package after the demo: our Trust Center link, IT security documentation, Data Processing Agreement (DPA), End User License Agreement (EULA), and Terms & Conditions. This is typically sufficient for most IT teams to complete their review. If your team has a custom security questionnaire, we handle it directly. For enterprise customers, custom IT assessments and procurement support are included in the package. We recommend starting the IT review early so there’s no bottleneck at the end, and if needed, we can set up a direct call between your IT team and someone from our Product/Tech organization.
Are you compatible with Google Slides or only PowerPoint?
SlideHub is built natively for Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) but also works in any web browser. It is not currently designed for Google Slides, but most slides generated via the SlideHub presentation builder and other automation tools in the browser view can be added to Google Slides. If your team works primarily in PowerPoint (or is open to it), SlideHub fits seamlessly into that workflow. For teams that use both environments, we’re happy to discuss your specific setup on a call.
