Stop rebuilding slides that already exist

The biggest AI Text-to-Slide update this quarter is one that saves time before any generation even starts.

When your team describes what they need, SlideHub now checks your existing library first. If there's already a slide that fits, they'll see it straight away. No more duplicating content you already have, and no more time spent searching after the fact.

When they do generate something new, they can build multiple slide variations at the same time and pick the best one. Everything runs in the background, so they can keep working on the rest of the presentation while the AI does its job. The slides will automatically get inserted when they're ready.

The output always uses your approved layouts, icons, and images, so what comes back looks like your company, not a generic template. You can define every layout the AI is allowed to use and restrict it entirely to your own brand assets.

Keep your library searchable without the admin overhead

A slide library is only as useful as it is searchable. When labelling falls behind, good content might get buried.

You can now automatically label slides, images, and icons based on their content. The AI suggests the visual label, categories, and tags. You approve or decline. New tags get created automatically so nothing disappears into the library.

For managers, this means less time doing manual admin and more confidence that the library is working the way it should. Contact your Customer Success Manager for a full walkthrough.

Find and use your slides without leaving Claude or ChatGPT

If your team uses Claude or ChatGPT as part of their daily work, finding a slide has always meant the same thing: stop what you're doing, open SlideHub, search, download, and try to get back into what you were doing.

SlideHub now connects to Claude and ChatGPT via MCP (Model Context Protocol). It's an open standard that lets AI tools communicate directly with external platforms. In practice, your team can search the slide library, download slides, and generate new on-brand slides without ever opening a new tab.

If you need help setting it up, reach out to our CS team.

Connect SlideHub directly to your own tools and workflows (Enterprise clients, in beta)

Enterprise customers can now integrate SlideHub with the rest of their technology stack via API. Search the library, retrieve content with AI-enabled search, and generate slides through the API.

Full documentation is at ppt.slidehub.io/api-docs. If you need a specific endpoint that isn't there yet, reach out directly.

On-brand email signatures for your whole organisation, sorted in one go

On-brand email signatures are now included in all SlideHub plans, for every customer. Set up different formats for different teams, update everyone's details in a single upload, and roll changes out instantly. Users can switch between signatures themselves. Everything inserts automatically when they open Outlook on web, desktop, or mobile.

For the first 50 customers who onboard the feature, you'll work directly with the developer who built it to make sure the template matches your brand exactly. Contact your Customer Success Manager to get started.

Always know what's changing across your account

For enterprise teams managing permissions and settings across a large organisation, visibility matters.

The platform now logs every change made across your account, with the user name, date, and time for each event. Filter by user, date, or event type to find exactly what you need. Built in direct response to client demand for more transparency and control.

Four more updates worth knowing about

Find and merge identical slides in one click. Scan your library to identify slides that are completely identical and merge them instantly. One version of the truth, no risk of getting it wrong.

New placeholder types: rich text and dropdown. Rich text placeholders let users add formatted content including bullet points, bold text, and multi-line copy directly into your slide. Dropdown placeholders give users a predefined list to choose from, so entries stay consistent every time. Both work in PowerPoint and Word.

Add royalty-free images to your library in one click. Browse Unsplash images directly from within SlideHub and add them straight to your company library, with no separate downloads or uploads.

Group related slides together. If you have multiple versions of the same slide in different languages or layouts, grouping them means your team can always find the right one without having to search for it.

Coming in May: two features worth getting excited about

Send and track presentations. Generate a shareable link for any presentation and send it directly from SlideHub. Your recipient gets a clean, device-friendly experience with all files in one place and no large download required. You get slide-level insight into what's actually being read, which slides get attention, which ones don't, and how long people spend. GDPR-compliant tracking notifications are built in. If you'd like to shape how the final version works, reach out now.

Data tables. Connect structured data like team bios, M&A credentials, or product details directly to your slide templates. When someone builds a slide using that template, they choose the relevant entries and SlideHub populates the slide automatically. One data set, multiple layouts, no copy-pasting. Excel import is included from day one.

Both features are targeted for mid-May. Get in touch if you want to be involved in shaping them or getting set up early.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
